Tattoos and tattoo machines go together like day and night, a perfect balance. As mentioned in the hand poke section, there are various tattoo techniques to explore.
My journey began two years ago at Bachtz’s private studio, where I learned the art of machine tattooing. This blend of the spiritual and the technical has been a wonderful learning experience, and I’m excited to share it with you.
During my apprenticeship with Bachtz, I started fresh, learning to work with a machine from scratch. It was an interesting and challenging journey. I began on paper, tracing circles all day long with a pen in my machine. There were moments of frustration and tears, but it was all worth it in the end. The machine practice is so different from the hand poke technique I was used to. The machine creates crisper lines, and the design possibilities are endless.
If you’re getting a machine tattoo with me, you can still expect that I’ll be gentle with you and take my time. I love combining traditional methods with modern artistry to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Machine tattoos are another amazing way to get inked, especially for larger pieces like full back, leg, arm, or stomach tattoos. Recently, I’ve developed a preference for big projects, creating large-scale art for my clients.
